Philip Kramers job is "Selling God."To everyone that needs and wants help from his feathered friends. It is the hardest job he ever loved. The pay is poor, but the rewards are out of this world.

For the past years, he has been doing this job of informing the general public of the love, He has given us by the Exotic Animals that He wanted to take care of. Like St. Francis of Assisi used the animals to relate to us.

He was able to evaluate his condition, and use the disability, for the good of others. He started to use his Exotic birds for Pet Therapy for myself, and Psychiatrist, asked if he could use his birds to help the others. This is how he started the Society.

He was using his birds for his own stability, but also to give to these people, what God wanted to give to all of us. A companion and a cherished friend to way our years away, that will help us to look at life in the eyes of the species and use their needs and wants, to help us, and to be not concerned of our every day stresses and see what God Had given to us. He found that there was a great need to help not only our endangered species, but also his fellow humans, especially the Senior Citizens in the Nursing Homes. Heecided to try to set up a innovative Pet Therapy Project that has worked in many Hospitals, Schools, and Nursing homes. That can bring new life to these people.

He found that even the residents with severe losses of memory, try to get the animals to relay to them. The staff membes and residents alike enjoy interacting with the animals and exchanging their favorite animal stories, which is significant because it diverts conversation away from the all-too-familiar topic of illnesses and age.

When you take one of his Exotic Birds to the various Hospitals and Nursing Homes and go visit the patients and residnets in their individual rooms. It stimulates, motivates and educate these people who cannot or will not come to them. He found that one-on-one visits can be designed to meet their definite therapeutic goals.

The author's father was a strict and serious character and would passionately read aloud the lives of the Saints to his children and frequently sang psalms, obliging the children to listen and pray. The father's uncle was almost a fanatic in his attitude to religion. From his childhood, during the great feast days of the church, when the families were united to celebrate, he would leave the house and go to the nearby church or convent and spend the whole day fasting and praying. At the age of seventy years, still hale and hearty after his work in the forest, he told his wife to light all the candles before their home shrine and told her to prepare his clean clothes, then tell all their relatives and friends that he was dying that night. The word went round and the whole village came to see the holy man die. Dressed in his good suit he lay down before the statues surrounded by his family and friends. Present also was the father of the author. The old man was in complete possession of all his faculties, but he seemed to become visibly weaker and weaker and suddenly, he called out in a loud voice: "Christ has risen, Alleluia! " His wife interrupted, saying: "It is still Passion week and it is not correct to sing Alleluia." He raised his hands and said firmly: "Here is the risen Christ, I see Him surrounded by Angels". And continued his singing of the Easter hymn, and then became quiet. The venerable old man was dead. When his body was washed they discovered that he had been wearing heavy chains and a hair shirt and nobody knew of its existence.

His death was truly that of a saint, his whole life was one of goodness and he was as pure as a lily. And it was he who accompanied the author as his companion into the nether world. This is related when he said: "You are of our family."

He was then certain that his guide was the uncle of his father, who died such a saintly death. The author was undoubtedly influenced by his religious family since his childhood and this has enhanced his spiritual life.

I recall his sad disposition during the retreat across the frozen Baikal river, where the temperature was 40 degrees below zero. During his hospitalization in a hospital in Zimbabwe, Africa, in the year 1979 he suffered a setback which put him into a deep coma. The narration of what he was shown during this long coma was wrought through his immense faith and by the eternal truths that came direct from God. For this reason one should read his work with serious attention to its worthy contents.

Dear Fellow Catholic, May the Peace of Our Lord God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit, bearer of the trith, be with You. I am a Roman Catholic from the small island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Most of the population there is Catholic, supposedly. I was scanning the NET in search of some good Catholic or Church based sites when I came across yours. Although you stated that it was generally for our Protestant brethren, I decided to read what you have and was pleased at your depth and impressed at your use of Srcipture. I am very glad to see that there are very active Catholics throughout the world and I just wanted to ensure that you know that there are. It is very important that as Catholics, we LOVE one another and we must proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ, for if we love each other, we must speak the truth. I pray that our Potestant brethren may understand such. I think it is very important that we pray, and totally lose ourselves in our God, for Through Him, With Him , and In Him, we are saved and can win the battle. I will pray for you and I hope that this letter will be a smalll note of Inspiration we which we always need against the battle of Sin. With God, there's Immunity against sin. Keep the Faith and the Good Work. Catholics Forever. Love and Peace of God Calixte George Jr.
