Acts 4:12. Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, whereby we must be saved.

Colossians 1:18. And he is the head of the body, the church.

Romans 12: 5. So we, being many, are one body in Christ.

(Note: the true Church of Jesus Christ is only one Church because He is the head of one body [the body]. He cannot be the head of many bodies, i.e. many Churches, each with its own faith, because there is only one faith, cf. Ephesians 4: 5 below).

Ephesians 5:23. Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body.

(Note: His body is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ which is the Roman Catholic Church, the true Church of Christ. The marks of the true Church are one, holy, catholic, apostolic, which only the Roman Catholic Church possesses. Jesus Christ saves members of the true Church only. The members of the Church are those who have validly received the Sacrament of Baptism and who are not separated from the unity of the confession of the Faith, and from the unity of the lawful communion of the Church [obedience to the Church authority]. Among the members of the Church are not to be counted: the unbaptised, open apostates and heretics, schismatics, and excommunicati vitandi).

1 Corinthians 12:13. For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body.

(Note: the Holy Scripture talks about one Spirit, one Lord who teaches one doctrine, one baptism, one body, one Church [not many Churches], therefore it follows that there must be only one faith that is the true faith. It cannot be that one faith believes in the Doctrine on the Blessed Virgin Mary or the Doctrine on Transubstantiation and another faith does not believe in them. Many faiths which are not the Catholic faith actually differ among themselves in major doctrines. How can they all be right? That very fact indicates that they are not of the the true faith.)

Ephesians 4:3-4. Careful to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. One body and one Spirit: as you are called in one hope of your calling.

Ephesians 4: 5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Philippians 2: 2. You be of one mind.

Hebrews 11: 6. But without faith it is impossible to please God.

(Note: "faith" is the Roman Catholic Faith, because there is only one true faith or one truth, see Ephesians 4:5 above).

Hebrews 13: 8-9. Jesus Christ, yesterday, and today: and the same for ever. Be not led away with various and strange doctrines.

Matthew 15: 9. And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men.

(Note: Commandments of men... The doctrines and commandments here understood are such as are either contrary to the law of God, [as that of neglecting parents, under pretence of giving to God], or at least are frivolous, unprofitable, and no ways conducing to true piety, as that of often washing hands, etc., without regard to the purity of the heart. But as to the rules and ordinances of the Holy Church, concerning fasts, festivals, etc., these are no ways repugnant to, but highly agreeable to God's holy word, and all Christian piety: neither are they to be counted among the doctrines and commandments of men; because they proceed not from mere human authority; but from that which Christ has established in His Church; whose pastors he has commanded us to hear and obey, even as himself. See Luke 10: 16 and Matthew18: 17).

Romans 16: 17-18. Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them. For they that are such serve not Christ our Lord but their own belly: and by pleasing speeches and good words seduce the hearts of the innocent.

2 Timothy 4: 3-4. For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables.

Titus 3: 10-11. A man that is a heretic, after the first and second admonition, avoid: Knowing that he that is such an one is subverted and sinneth, being condemned by his own judgment.

Matthew 18: 17. And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.

2 John 1: 10. If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house nor say to him: God speed you.

(Note: Nor say to him, God speed you... This admonition is in general, to forewarn the faithful of the dangers which may arise from a familiarity with those who have prevaricated and gone from the true faith, and with such as teach false doctrine. But this is not forbidding a charity for all men, by which we ought to wish and pray for the eternal salvation of every one, even of our enemies).

Colossians 2: 4, 8. Now this I say, that no man may deceive you by loftiness of words. Beware lest any man cheat you by philosophy and vain deceit: according to the tradition of men according to the elements of the world and not according to Christ.

Matthew 7: 21. Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Hebrews 10:36. For patience is necessary for you: that, doing the will of God, you may receive the promise.

Ephesians 5:17. Wherefore, become not unwise: but understanding what is the will of God.

Romans 8: 10. And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin: but the spirit liveth, because of justification.

(Note: The Council of Trent, referring to Colossians 1: 13, defined Justification as "Translation from that condition in which man is born as the son of the first Adam into the state of grace and adoption among the children of God through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, our Saviour.")

John 3: 3. Jesus answered and said to him: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 5: 17. If then any be in Christ a new creature.

Galatians 6: 15. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision: but a new creature.

Ephesians 4: 23-24. And be renewed in spirit of your mind: And put on the new man, who according to God is created in justice and holiness of truth.

2 Peter 1: 4. By whom he hath given us most great and precious promises: that by these you may be made partakers of the divine nature: flying the corruption of that concupiscence which is in the world.

Colossians 1: 13-14. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, in whom we have redemption through his blood, the remission of sins.

Hebrews 11: 6. But without faith it is impossible to please God.

John 8: 23-24. And he said to them: You are from beneath: I am from above. You are of this world: I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you shall die in your sins. For if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sin.

Ecclesiasticus 1: 27-28. The fear of the Lord driveth out sin: For he that is without fear, cannot be justified: for the wrath of his high spirits is his ruin.

Matthew 4: 17. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say: Do penance, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Act 2: 38. But Peter said to them: Do penance: and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Ezechiel 18: 30. Therefore will I judge every man according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God. Be converted, and do penance for all your iniquities: and iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Ezechiel 33: 11. Say to them: As I live, saith the Lord God, I desire not the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way, and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways: and why will you die, O house of Israel?

Luke 13: 3. No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish.

Ecclesiasticus 2: 9-10. Ye that fear the Lord hope in him, and mercy shall come to you for your delight. Ye that fear the Lord, love him, and your hearts shall be enlightened.

1 John 3: 14. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.

Acts 3: 19. Be penitent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.

(Note: it would be incompatible with the veracity and the sanctity of God that He should declare the sinner to be justified, if he remains in reality sinful.)

Acts 22:16. And now why tarriest thou? Rise up and be baptized and wash away thy sins, invoking his name.

Luke 7: 47-48. Wherefore, I say to thee: Many sins are forgiven her, because she hath loved much. But to whom less is forgiven, he loveth less. And he said to her: Thy sins are forgiven thee.

(Note: Many sins are forgiven her, because she hath loved much... In the scripture an effect sometimes seems attributed to one only cause, when there are diverse other concurring dispositions; for the sins of this woman, in this verse, are said to be forgiven, because she loved much: but (verse 50) Christ tells her, Thy faith hath made thee safe. Hence in a true conversion are joined faith, hope, love, sorrow for sin, and other pious dispositions. "because she hath loved much": perfect love of God, which requires the keeping of the 10 commandments; see below).

John 20: 23. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them: and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.

(Note: Whose sins, etc... See here the commission, stamped by the broad seal of heaven, by virtue of which the pastors of Christ's Church absolve repenting sinners upon their confession).

1 Thessalonians 4: 3. For this is the will of God, your sanctification.

(Note: the Council of Trent teaches that sanctifying grace is the sole formal cause of justification, which means that the infusion of sanctifying grace effects the eradication of sin as well as inner sanctification. Three Divine virtues of faith, hope, and charity are infused with sanctifying Grace.)

Acts 20: 32. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.

Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men and holiness: without which no man shall see God.

Matthew 5: 48. Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect.

John 14:15. If you love me, keep my commandments.

Luke 6: 46. And why call you me, Lord, Lord; and do not the things which I say?

John 14: 23-24. Jesus answered and said to him: If any one love me, he will keep my word. And my Father will love him and we will come to him and will make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my words. And the word which you have heard is not mine; but the Father's who sent me.

1 Timothy 6:14. That thou keep the commandment without spot, blameless, unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6: 9-11. Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: Neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers: Nor the effeminate nor liers with mankind nor thieves nor covetous nor drunkards nor railers nor extortioners shall possess the kingdom of God. And such some of you were. But you are washed: but you are sanctified: but you are justified: in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Spirit of our God.

1 John 3: 8. He that committeth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

John 3: 5. Jesus answered: Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

(Note: "Unless a man be born again, etc." ... By these words our Saviour hath declared the necessity of baptism; and by the word "water" it is evident that the application of it is necessary with the words. see Matthew 28: 19).

Matthew 28:19-29. Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

Mark 16: 16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned.

Titus 3: 5. Not by the works of justice which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration and renovation of the Holy Ghost.

Galatians 3: 27. For as many of you as have been baptized in Christ have put on Christ.

John 6: 51-52, 54-58. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world. Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen, I say unto you: except you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood abideth in me: and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, the same also shall live by me.

Mark 14: 22-24. And whilst they were eating, Jesus took bread; and blessing, broke and gave to them and said: Take ye. This is my body. And having taken the chalice, giving thanks, he gave it to them. And they all drank of it. And he said to them: This is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many.

(Note: when Jesus says "This is My Body, This is My Blood," bread has to become Body of Christ and wine has to become Blood of Christ because He is God Almighty. Bread and wine still appear on the surface, but their substances are Body and Blood of Christ. Nay, more than that, as the Council of Trent defined, each piece of the consecrated host contains Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. This is the transubstantiation doctrine taught by Jesus Himself and officially declared for belief by the Catholic Church. If God has made all things with His word as is said in Wisdom 9:1 "God of my fathers, and Lord of mercy, who hast made all things with thy word," why was He not able to turn bread into His own Body and wine His own Blood by His word ? Those who do not subscribe to this doctrine of transubstantiation actually do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God. In other words, they may call themsleves Christians, but actually they have no faith. And "without faith it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11: 6)

Titus 2: 11-15. For the grace of God, our Saviour, hath appeared to all men, instructing us, that renouncing impiety, and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and justly, and piously in this world, waiting for the blessed hope, and coming of the glory of the great God, and our Saviour, Jesus Christ: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people acceptable, pursuing good works.

James 2: 26. For even as the body without the spirit is dead: so also faith without works is dead.
