Shall and Will, such little and insignificant words...or are they?
Hmmm...sounds like something definitive to me, sort of
like a command! Something that WILL take place means just that, it WILL take
place.
Will is similar:
Used to indicate likelihood or certainty...used to
indicate REQUIREMENT or COMMAND.
Now, everyone who reads the Bible is familiar with these two words and knows
exactly, the meaning of them.
I call your attention to only one verse of Scripture, and
it is Luke 1:48. In the Magnificat, the 'Blessed Virgin Mary' said,
"...behold, henceforth ALL generations 'SHALL' call me Blessed." Some
Bibles use the word WILL instead of SHALL but it does not matter.
Summary
of Luke 1:48:
1. 'HENCEFORTH'..., means from this moment on...
2. 'ALL
GENERATIONS'..., includes you and me folks, and all those before
and after us...
3. 'SHALL'..., this word equates
to a 'command', and not to a 'suggestion'...
4.
'CALL ME BLESSED'...
