Where did it started?The mentioning of the name Mariannhill nowadays arises the thoughts like this 'it is a mission area, Catholic Mission, which has an unbelievable influence in almost every church in South Africa and Africa'. Since the arrival of the missionaries, the area of Mariannhill has developed into an important area to people around the area of Mariannhill. This section deals with the origin of the mission's activities, its engineers and its present situation. More important in this section is the influence the Mariannhill mission has imposed on almost every person who attend any church. This is because Mariannhill mission nowadays is known all over South Africa and Africa, through its activities that supply almost every church in the continent with church material, food and commercial things that the mission's activities produce. This section will then deal with the big question of how are the relations between the Mariannhill Mission, which will stand for the Roman Catholic church, and other churches being the Christian and Asian churches. What will be clear in this section is that the section deals also with the Mariannhill society, education in the mission, and the rejection of the Apartheid laws by the mision.
