It would be gratifying to know the filter was of use to you , please let me know how it worked , ease of construction , perhaps I can be of assistance, it should be useful as a solution to ground static to a common value throughout.
I got extra credit for new design a long time ago for this ckt , but never thought of putting it up for general use until now, hope someone can make use of it as I have over the years.
Note ; When adjusting the input "R" (Best to adjust "R"2 to a greater value), for amplification , use a scope , assuming you have calculated/adjusted the Vtg drops across "R" in and "R" out for reference, also some adjustment of the ckt whether "R" out or one of the other resistors (Likely RB preferably) to maintain the maximum Vtg drop required across "R" out
One little aspect on that circuit I forgot, opposing voltages behave in strange manners, in this circuit, the calculated voltage drop is half of what the additive voltage can become because of the battery ,view the applied Battery voltage as a device turned on halfway, and the lowest voltage is simply the clamp off when the voltage reaches enough to push the battery voltage to zero. In the end the measured voltage from the battery is always half at the drop across the resistor in this configuration, if the input is adjusted to saturation by the driving power , then you have a square wave out, as it cant rise above or below the preset level. For instance if you wanted to pull out a 1 MV out of a normal level of 200mv signal , simply adjust it to 1/2 MV drop , and then sort, as all other signals are in saturation and square, with no ringing caused by inductance, and the target signal is sinusoidal. One of the best things is the isolation possible by this ckt.
Remember to use a "'scope" to set it to a usable value.
Opposing voltages have strange properties, part internal resistance, part inductance, and part UQE (unsolved quantum effect) , this ckt was designed to prove that unknown ,(as well as passive ckts can amplify ) and it turned out to be useful, and practical. If there is argument about this, take known value parts and construct a medium value ckt, with at least 5 resistance's, calculate it with know mathematics, and it will have to be adjusted for exact values out, this is unacceptable in math, and shows there is something unaccounted for in the equation.
