Continuos Magnetic Propulsion (Linear Motor)
There is nothing new with the CMP ( Continuos Magnetic Propulsion device ), rather just a minor rearrangement of the way magnets pass through a field.  In the picture you will see that power is derived/taken from the containment wheels that hold it in place.  The nice thing about this arrangement, is size can be manipulated to use it for some rather interesting applications ,such as causing a weightless craft to rotate simply by applying a short burst of energy to the feed.
Yes there has to be alignment of the sensors to allow it to engage the fields, at a predetermined point to allow maximum transfer, whether it be, as a whole mover, or simply to transfer the power to the containment wheels, or even a Gyroscopic need. The indications are that it would be rather efficient in operation , gleaning more for the applied power , as magnets are better able to generate power if passed through a coil, and vice versa.
