MSM Supplement
I have read some on the proposed benefits of MSM ( Methylsulfonylmethane ) and am puzzled.
Seeing that most supposed supplements are metabolized , and aimed at generally a certain function of the body, this however is touted as a true snake oil , that crosses all boundaries to touch and ease all areas of the body. Now seeing that we are symbiotic creatures, with many areas working to support the whole , I find this rather strange, not counting specific barriers that have to be crossed to access these various areas. Would it not be more logical to say , it effects such as the kidneys and liver , and makes them produce exotic compounds beneficial to the body? Or even the Brain for that matter?
I would like your view on this obvious great breakthrough, even if you are only taking it and receive benefits not expected, or harm , if any.
I have a special interest in this, but I am NOT a fad follower, I promise to post relevant material when available, but it depends on competent feed back, events and research, professional, and patient (Recipient).
Understand, I will not post theory unless it fits the true state of the human body, which is a large set of symbiotic areas functioning together as a whole.
(And yes I am at a wonder , of the creators works )
Update; Due to the resent findings on Magnets and the Earths Magnetic field, I am ashamed at the way I sided with the nay sayers, who out of known logic assumed this is of no benefit, that is not good science, and something like this, if it does no harm to the patient, is not depended on as a miracle drug that will save someone from death from a cellular disruption disease, like Cancer, and it's somehow the patients fault if it doesn't work, this sounds like Medieval tactics , and I want no part of that sort of thinking. I see where the patients ability to believe the medicine will give relief needs to be enhanced , I see where a blind study needs to be done, on a large section of society for a decent period of time. Not by someone who stands to make a buck off it, and can manipulate the results. As I saw that once where a so-called Dr. manipulated results from a study on treatment for PTSD, and was published, it is the sort of thing no credible Dr. would want placed as fact in the journals, same as with Drug testing, the results can be manipulated to only show the better results, not the bizarre types, such as with certain synaptic suppressors, that can , and does have brief lapses that the patient becomes capable of murder for a short brief period, over compensating for the suppression, with a burst of hyper synaptic activity . (There was, and likely still is ,Nurses organizations that do observance studies, these people see first hand ,the results of drugs, and methods used on a large section of patient society, and should have credence all the time, not just when it suits the administrations budget liabilities and promises. The psychiatric institutions are a very good behavioral study group , as they are more likely to "act out " their feelings, before a burst of homicidal tendencies erupt . I do not approve of the practice, but they are more likely to receive behavioral medicines before the general public are. )
