Our oven is where the powder coating is cured. This is a very critical step in the process and is monitored closely. Our oven is a convection oven, this means that the air is constantly moving around the parts. The temperature is consistent from top to bottom and from side to side. Again this is critical for all parts to be cured correctly.  I had one customer e-mail me and tell me his old powder coater used heat lamps and told him to place the parts outside for a couple of days to finish curing. Since we typically cure at 392 degrees, it would have had to be pretty hot days to finish curing his parts. Needless to say the coating did not adhere properly and was a disaster. Curing is VERY important.

Our oven size is 6’ wide x 8’ tall and 19’ long.
